Scandi Divers has everything you’ll need to enjoy a memorable stay, from the peaceful pool and oceanfront bar, to the white sandy beach and plenty of exciting excursions on offer. Together, Scandi Divers and its sister resort, Campbell's Beach Resort, offer a range of rooms to suit all budgets. There are two beachfront restaurants serving up international, Filipino and western cuisine, and an oceanfront bar offering a selection of refreshing drinks. After a day of sunbathing on the white sandy beach and swimming in the pool, the friendly staff can arrange relaxing spa services in your room, on the beach or in a local spa.
While scuba diving is the main attraction, there are also plenty of other activities to keep you busy. Enjoy snorkeling off the house reef, kayaking, or hop on a boat to explore dozens of deserted beaches and coves around Puerto Galera’s shores. Visit waterfalls and natural pools, or experience an adventurous day out at X-Treme Sports Philippines where you can try mud kart and ATV rides, go kart racing, paintball and more. For something truly different, ask the staff about a visit to the Mangyan villages, where the original inhabitants of Mindoro still live a minimal, traditional way of life.
Diving from Scandi Divers
Designed with divers in mind, Scandi Divers’ state-of-the-art dive centre is a gateway to exploring Puerto Galera’s iconic dive sites. Accommodating up to 65 divers, the refurbished dive centre provides full rental dive equipment and offers enriched air nitrox and tec diving support. There’s also a five-station camera room suitably equipped for even the most experienced underwater photographers. PADI and NAUI dive courses for beginners up to divemaster level are available in various languages, including English, Chinese, Tagalog, Danish, Swedish, Spanish and Italian.
Puerto Galera has over 40 world-class dive sites, mostly just ten-minutes by boat from the resort. From amazing reefs and critter hunting spots, to energetic drifts, exhilarating deep dives and fantastic blackwater diving, there’s something to entice every diver. And don’t forget the resort’s own house reef, and 15 sites perfect for technical divers. Scandi Divers’ two dive boats head out every day, starting early in the morning and finishing with an exciting night dive. Guests can also join a day trip to the famous Verde Island, one of Puerto Galera’s most popular diving spots.
