Day 1:Upon arrival in Huvadhoo, transfer to Princess Sara.Days 2-7:Suvadiva (Huvadhoo) has intact reefs with corals that completely cover the seabed, creating gardens of incredible beauty that can be appreciated both in scuba diving and only with fins and mask. The currents are often quite strong in these areas, and the water has carved out caves where corals, fish and invertebrates live. The amount of sharks is truly incredible as is the reef fish. Excellent for deep sea fishing (sailfish, wahoo, tuna, barracuda and lampughe) and bottom fishing (snapper, grouper etc).In Fuvahmulah atoll it is possible to dive with the big tigers that rise from the deep waters almost to the surface. On the outer plateau, schools of hammerheads, grey sharks, thresher and silky sharks live. It is not difficult for them to be accompanied by an encounter with great whale sharks. These are moderately demanding dives and suitable for those who are fond of big fish. The Addu atoll also offers special encounters among which the oceanic manta rays that live there in all seasons stand out. Here, too, it is possible to meet tiger, grey, white tip and silky sharks. The currents coming from the ocean bring a large amount of nutrients, attracting many shoal fish, tuna, jacks, barracudas, but also fusiliers, snappers and butterfly fish. Thanks to the presence of these palatable prey, large predators such as sharks and giant groupers also come. Sometimes, with a little luck, you can also meet sailfish. Groups of dolphins swim and play around the dhoni and the boat, rarer (unfortunately) is to meet them underwater!Day 8:Disembarkation in the morning and transfer to the airport.Sample itineraries are for guidance only. Day 1:Upon arrival in Addu, transfer to Princess Sara.Days 2-7:ADDUExtraordinary visibility and an average depth of 30-35 metres characterise this beautiful atoll. In addition to being able to spot large groups of grey sharks at Shark point, this atoll also offers wreck diving such as the famous British Loyalty Wreck, a nearly 6,000-ton tanker located 30 metres deep. In this area the currents are weaker than in other atolls, therefore it is also ideal for less experienced divers. Other possible sightings: turtles, manta rays, rays and of course sharks.FUVAHMULAHOften in a single dive you can admire seven types of rare sharks, from the tiger shark to the elegant thresher shark, without forgetting the oceanic manta rays, whale sharks, hammerheads and mola mola (sunfish). This atoll is the only place on the planet where these sightings can be made in a natural environment.SUVADIVA NORTH AND SOUTHThe very nice boxfish are only a small part of the underwater attractions of this area, waiting for the great encounters of this area: tiger sharks and hammerhead sharks. Caves, steep cliffs and pristine cliffs diversify this area, as do the great gorgonians, red sponges and frogfish.LAAMUAlso ideal for less experienced divers, this atoll is famous for its few currents and crystal clear visibility. In addition, meeting with manta rays in cleaning stations is on the agenda. Other possible sightings: pipefish, reef sharks and curious groupers.Day 8:Morning disembarkation in Laamu and transfer to the airport.Sample itineraries are for guidance only. Famous is the diving spot called Gorgonian Garden where there are frequent sightings of manta rays, turtles and schools of fusiliers. Small and large crustaceans are very frequent, as are the colourful nudibranchs.MULAKArea characterised by ocean passes, manta points and internal and external reefs. Frequent sightings: nudibranchs, shrimp, soft and hard corals, grey and white tip sharks, nurse sharks, manta rays and sea eagles.FELIDUCharacterised by its splendid channels, this place is particularly suitable for perfecting the technique of drift diving. In a few months, the encounter with the graceful manta rays is accompanied by dozens of whale sharks enjoying the plankton carried by the current. Not to mention the “common” grey reef sharks or leopard, nurse, oceanic whitetip, hammerhead and much more.Day 8:Disembarkation in the morning and transfer to the airport.Sample itineraries are for guidance only. DAY 1: Arrival (1 dives)Our staff will welcome you at Velanaa International Airport. By 12 noon you will be taken to the boat for refreshments, acceptance procedure and welcome briefing. In the early afternoon the check dive will take place, once back on board we will sail towards South Male where we will stop for the night.DAY 2: South Male & Felidhoo (3 dives)The first dive will take place at Velassaru, and then we will move to the Guraidhoo area where the second dive of the day will take place. To follow, navigation to Felidhoo where you can go down on a sand bank, or for those who want an extra dive (subject to a surcharge), waiting for the third dive on the program: the night dive at the Alimathà jetty.DAY 3: Felidhoo & Ari Atoll (3 dives)At the first light of dawn we'll be preparing for a dive on a Kandu (pass) near Alimathà. With the right current and visibility you will be able to admire dozens and dozens of silver tip, white tip reef and grey sharks. A relatively simple dive: we recommend the use of a hook in order to enjoy the show to the fullest. Before setting sail for the south-east area of Ari, where the second and third dives of the day will take place, you will have the opportunity to put your feet on the ground on a Finolhu (sand bank).Ari Atoll is a must see with its beautiful dive spots where rays and sharks are in the area regardless of the current's directions. This is a favourite site of many underwater photographers who promise to deliver stunning images, from large to small coral creatures. During the day there will be the opportunity to visit the island of Dhangethi, where a barbecue dinner on the beach is planned.DAY 4: South Ari Atoll (3 dives)The highlight of the day is the search for the whale shark: before that, a beautiful shoal awaits us in the Dhangethi area.Once the whale shark will be located, we will give you the opportunity to swim alongside it by snorkelling, followed by a dive. Occasionally you have the chance to spot the whale shark during the dive of ‘Maamigili or Dhigurah’.The third and last dive of the day will be near the island of Rangali: a splendid Manta Point awaits you!Afterwards we will move for the night near Mirihi where we will try to attract the plankton with some lighthouses positioned at the stern. With a bit of luck, we will enjoy the whale shark while feeding.DAY 5: South Ari (3 dives)Upon awakening and after another briefing, we will embark on the Dhoni to reach another Manta Point followed by the second dive in a shoal full of coral, reef and pelagic fishes. After lunch we will make the third dive in another shoal, one of the most beautiful in the Ari Atoll studded with soft coral, reef sharks and lots of fish: Panathone.DAY 6: Central Ari (3 dives)Before sailing north to Fesdhoo and ending the day of diving in a wreck, we will do the first two dives in West Ari.Immediately after dinner, the spotlights will be turned on once again at the stern with the hope of attracting the manta rays that will dance just for you. At this point all that remains is to start dressing, dive into the water and enjoy the show.DAY 7: North Ari (1 dive)At Bathala Maagau we will make the last dive of the week where you can admire magnificent schools of grey reef sharks, snappers, jacks, fusiliers, barracudas and tuna. We will then move to Hulhumale where we will give you the opportunity to go ashore and visit the Maldivian capital. Our crew will help you rinse and wash your equipment and you can be assisted with your bags if required. For the last night the boat will be anchored near Kurumba.DAY 8: DepartureAfter breakfast you will go through the check-out procedures and by 10 am you will be taken at the airport for your return flight.
