Step outside to discover fantastic facilities, including a spa, all-day kid’s club, fitness centre, and sports courts. This expansive property also hosts a beachside Olympic-sized pool, its own natural lagoon, and unexpected surprises like hilltop yoga sessions with one of the island’s best views. Private, in-villa dining and romantic meals set in nature are also easy to arrange. If you’re up for a bit of adventure, hike up Mount Kempinski for a fantastic bird’s eye view over the bay. Or, head down the beach for surf lessons, rentals, and pointers on the best local breaks. Kayaks, paddleboards, and other sports equipment are also available for day use.
Diving from Kempinski Seychelles
Kempinski’s partner dive centre, Dive Resort Seychelles, specialises in guided underwater exploration on Mahe’s uncrowded southern coast. Their experienced team of instructors also offers a full range of PADI courses from beginner to pro, starting with your very first breaths underwater and courses for kids age ten and up. This full-service dive centre’s main location is in Anse La-Mouche, but their satellite branch set right on the grounds in Kempinski is well outfitted, including a retail space, perfectly maintained rental equipment, gear storage, and air-conditioned classrooms for students.
Dive Resort Seychelles operates three custom catamarans, specially equipped for breezy days on the water. These smooth sailing vessels are crewed by expert guides, some of whom have been exploring Mahe’s southern sites for decades. You’ll enjoy trips to some of the island’s most pristine and seldom visited diving areas, known for their dramatic granite reefs, vast soft coral gardens, and thriving marine life, including sea turtles, reef sharks, and eagle rays. And, as most guests flock to the north, you’ll likely have the very best sites all to yourself! Guided snorkelling and freediving tours and specialised whale shark trips are also offered in season.
