Once on board, you will be assigned your accommodation, receive a boat briefing, and select any rental equipment. The boat will spend the night in Port Ghalib.Days 2-6: Combine some of Egypt’s best southern Red Sea dive destinations.Rocky Island hosts a fringing reef that circles the entire perimeter of the island, dropping steeply to astonishing depths, although the most interesting features and life are found above 12m. Watch the blue for life but take care as there can be strong currents. The island of Zabargad is an amazing dive spot. It is characterised by an enormous mountain reaching out of the water, surrounded by a lagoon and circling reef. There are a couple of wrecks and a great variety of corals and reef fish.Located on the Tropic of Cancer, St. John’s Reef is the furthest South you will get in the Egyptian Red Sea. All its dive sites are very close to each other which means that you can easily move from one place to another. It therefore adds a lot of variety to your dives: drop-offs, tunnels and stunning hard-coral formations. One of these dives (St. John’s Caves or Umm Kharalim) is truly unique and is a photographer’s heaven with rays of light filtering through into the beautiful tunnels.Day 7: In the afternoon, the boat will enter the harbour. Your luggage will be brought from the storage to prepare all your personal things.Day 8: Check out after breakfast and before 10:00.Sample itineraries are for guidance only. With five entrances and exits and shallow in depth, you’re never ‘lost’ and can just enjoy the shafts of light dancing through the caverns. Rays, nudibranchs, large Napoleon wrasse and morays are all frequently spotted here; you may even see a white tip reef shark or turtle pass by.Sha’ab Sataya is situated at the very south of Fury Shoals; this huge natural lagoon is formed by a massive reef (sha’ab) rising from the depths. The fame of Sataya is its steep drop offs along with pelagic sightings and protected pinnacles smothered in soft and hard corals. But the real stars can be the huge pods of spinner dolphins that frequent here, meaning Sataya has become the ‘Dolphin House’ of Hamata.Elphinstone is one of the most beautiful reefs, with its north and south plateau’s covered in hard and soft corals and visiting pelagicDaedalus lies about 180-kilometres south of the Brother Islands this huge reef is surrounded by a sheer wall and strong currents allowing for fantastic drift diving.Depending on prevailing weather conditions your guides will pick sites suitable for night dives outside the Marine Park.Day 7: In the afternoon, the boat will enter the harbour.
