The impressive Sea Hunter is a highly-capably commercial dive vessel completely reimagined to provide a new gold standard for recreational liveaboard diving. For more than 25 years, this vessel’s spaciousness and user-friendly design has introduced adventure divers, as well as professional photographers and cinematographers, to an entirely new level of liveaboard. Specifically-built for long-range expeditions to remote destinations like Cocos and Malpelo Islands, this vessel comes well-equipped for intrepid underwater exploration. Day 1: Once all guests have arrived in Puntarenas and boarded the vessel, we will set sail for the 32-36 hour cruise out to Cocos Island.

Day 2: This day will be spent at sea. Guests can use this time to organise dive and camera gear, and to relax and enjoy the sunshine. Watch videos or chat with our crew to get even more geared up for diving. You can also use this time to take the nitrox certification.

Day 3-8: These days are spent diving the incredible sites all around Cocos Island. Divers usually average 3 dives per day at depths of about 18-30 metres.

Day 9: Make the last 3 dives before the crossing back to Puntarenas.

Day 10: This is another day spent at sea. Use this time to compare adventures with new friends, and enjoy sharing everyone’s photos and videos!

Day 11: Arrival in Puntarenas. Immediately after breakfast, you will be transported back to San Jose. We strongly recommend staying one more night on land, before flying out, in case of any unforeseen delays.
